After Treatment with the Inman Aligner will I need to wear a retainer to keep teeth straight? | Dental Treatment Guide

To reduce the chance of teeth shifting after treatment, it will be necessary to hold the teeth in the correct position. This is usually achieved by bonding a thin wire onto the back of the teeth, or alternatively a transparent plastic retainer can be worn. Eventually this can be used just two nights a week to keep teeth permanently in place. Note that all orthodontic treatment usually requires these precautions to prevent teeth shifting.
